Author: Alberto Zaccheroni, 57, former coach of AC Milan and Juventus, was hired by the Federation of Nippon. He succeeds Takeshi Okada (JPN), who led the eighth selection in the last World Cup finals.
Okada has left his post to join the steering committee of the Federation. The main result of Zaccheroni, also passed by Inter, Udinese and Lazio, is a Scudetto with AC Milan in 1999.

Bayern Munich announced Monday the transfer of its Argentinian medium ground José Ernesto Sosa for Naples. Sosa, 25 years, Olympic champion in 2008, arrived at Bayern Munich in 2007. In three seasons of Bundesliga, he played 35 matches and registered three goals. He was under contract until 2011 in Bayern Munich. With Naples, Sosa will dispute Europa League in the group K which also understands Liverpool, Bucharest and Utrecht.

FC Barcelona: Ibrahimovic not convened for the first Liga game.
The Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not been summoned by his FC Barcelona for the first game of the season in La Liga as the Spanish champions will play Sunday night in Santander, while the sports press gives as his imminent departure for AC Milan. Barca said in a statement that the 28 year old Swedish striker had not been selected for the match against Santander for a “technical reason”.
According to AS sports newspaper Sport and a planned meeting this Saturday afternoon is expected to formalize the transfer of Swedes who would, initially, on loan to Milan for a year and then sold for 30 to 40 million euros.
